The single leg step down is a great lower body strengthening exercise that will help with a ton of common activities such as going up and down stairs, hiking, playing in the backyard with your kids, etc.


How it works:

- set up on a 12 inch box

- one foot on box, one foot off the side

- keep weight in right leg and push hips back for a hinging motion

- tap foot to the back to work those glutes and hamstrings

- stand back up


You can add weight to make it more challenging, or add another box!
